Verdict: who the Falcon 7X suits
The 7X suits 8 to 12 passengers on long flights who value efficiency and airport access over the very largest cabin. It flies Europe to the US East Coast and the Gulf to Europe with ease, uses airports that bigger jets cannot, and costs less per hour than a G650 or Global 6000.

Cabin layout and floor plan
The 7X cabin is usually arranged in three zones:
Forward club: four seats behind the galley and forward lavatory
Dining or conference area: a table for four with facing seats, convertible to beds
Aft lounge or stateroom: a divan or bed, with the main lavatory and access to the baggage hold
The cabin has many windows for its size, giving it a bright feel, and it is quiet in cruise. It is narrower than a G650 or Global 6000, which you notice with a full cabin on a long flight, less so with six or eight on board.
Range in practice
With a typical executive load the 7X flies these nonstop:
London to New York (about 3,000 nm) and Paris to New York (about 3,150 nm)
Geneva to Dubai (about 2,600 nm) and Dubai to London (about 2,950 nm)
London to Johannesburg (about 4,900 nm)
Nairobi to London (about 3,700 nm)
It also handles demanding airports that suit a long range trip from Europe: steep approaches such as Lugano, and short or high runways at Alpine and Mediterranean destinations, subject to the operator's approvals.
Charter price per hour
The Falcon 7X typically charters for around €11,000 to €15,000 per flight hour, often a little below a G650 or Global 6000 for the same trip because its three engines burn less fuel. Positioning, crew overnights and peak dates add to that. A Geneva to Dubai flight of about 6 hours typically comes to €70,000 to €95,000 all in, before positioning.
Buying a pre-owned Falcon 7X
The 7X has been succeeded by the Falcon 8X and the Falcon 6X, so buying a 7X means buying pre-owned. Indicative prices run from around US$15 million for early aircraft to around US$30 million for late, well specified ones.
