Paris to Nice is the most-flown private sector in France, and for most of the year it functions as a shuttle rather than a journey: 1h25 in the air, out and back within the day if you want it.
Then there is the season. From May the Riviera absorbs the Film Festival, the Grand Prix and the start of the yachting calendar within a few weeks of each other, and the whole coast changes character — including how far ahead you need to commit. Many of these flights end on a helicopter to Monaco or a car to Cap Ferrat, so the sector is usually the middle of a longer door-to-door plan rather than the whole of it.
Le Bourget to Nice is the classic Riviera sector: 1h25 gate to gate, and Nice Côte d'Azur runs a dedicated business aviation terminal separate from the main halls, with helicopter transfers to Monaco waiting on the apron.
Timing is everything on this route. Cannes in May and the Grand Prix weekend put the whole coast under slot pressure, and July and August Fridays southbound are the next tightest window. Book those dates weeks out, not days.
