Amsterdam to Mykonos is the most popular private-jet route to the Greek islands from the Netherlands — a nonstop sector of around three and a half hours that makes a Friday-afternoon departure and a Sunday return entirely practical. At roughly 2,600 km it's slightly shorter than London–Mykonos, which also makes it one of the better-value island routes from Northern Europe. The same airport rule applies: Mykonos's single 1,800-metre runway means light and smaller midsize jets only, with the Phenom 300E and Citation CJ4 the right aircraft for the job.
Schiphol has the main private terminals but is busy on summer Friday afternoons, so allow extra ground time if you depart from there. For most leisure flights we recommend Rotterdam The Hague — 45 to 60 minutes from Amsterdam, significantly quieter, and faster on the ground. Heavy jets can't use Mykonos, so larger groups route via Athens, which handles all aircraft, with a private speedboat or domestic hop onward. As with any Mykonos flight, the airport is heavily congested in July and August, and booking six to eight weeks ahead is the way to lock in your preferred arrival time.

We take care of the surrounding logistics: preferred Mykonos slots booked well in advance, villa and beach-club reservations, and yacht or helicopter transfers on the island. Peak July and August surcharges of 30 to 60 per cent above base rates apply across the route, and we set that expectation inside the quote, not after it. Amsterdam departures tend to price slightly more competitively than the equivalent London flights, and choosing Rotterdam over Schiphol can trim costs further while noticeably improving the ground experience — small choices we'll always point out.
From the first enquiry you work with one team and one all-in price, delivered within the hour, 24/7, complete with aircraft, tail number and a clear list of inclusions. Outside the peak fortnight availability is strong and pricing is reasonable; inside it, early booking is what protects both your slot and your budget. For groups that outgrow a smaller midsize jet, we'll quote the Athens-plus-transfer routing alongside the direct option so the trade-offs are clear. Every flight is operated by an ARGUS Platinum or Wyvern Wingman-rated operator.
